A highlight of our Learn to Ski Holiday is an enchanting evening journey into the heart of the mountains. Hop onto a snowmobile-drawn sledge for a twilight journey, surrounded by crisp, fresh air under the twinkling stars. Glide through starlit terrain to a summit where a crackling fire, warm drinks, and starlit peaks await.

End your ski days with a soothing sauna. Available every evening after dinner, it’s a great way to relax and refresh. Unwind, ease tired muscles, and recharge in this quintessential Nordic tradition.

Touch down in Trondheim (Norway) and catch our transfer to Åre, Sweden nestled in the breathtaking Jämtland mountains.

Check into your cosy alpine hotel, unpack, relax and acclimatise.

Start the day with a leisurely breakfast. Then, meet instructors for a gear-fitting session and an introduction to ski equipment. After getting suited and booted, it’s time for the first lesson on the nursery slopes. Break for lunch at the café before heading back out to refine newfound skills. Finish the day with a hearty dinner and a rejuvenating sauna session.

Today, the focus is on building confidence with snow ploughs and parallel turns. Spend the morning fine-tuning your technique under expert guidance. After a refuel at the café, put skills into practice on the slopes. As night falls, take on the magic of night skiing on a floodlit slope—a true highlight of the week.

With the basics down, it’s time to tackle turns and learn the essential dos and don’ts of ski etiquette. Our instructors will guide us through morning lessons designed to take skills to the next level. The afternoon is all about skiing freely, practising what we’ve learned. Enjoy a relaxed evening with good food and camaraderie.

Spend the morning on the slopes again with another lesson to further build confidence and technique. In the afternoon it’s back on the slopes, before we help you get kitted out with the gear you’ll need for tomorrow’s cross country skiing. 

After an evening sauna and dinner, board a sledge towed by a snowmobile for an unforgettable twilight ride through the mountains. End the evening with a warm drink at a cosy mountain bar.

Today we swap downhill skis for cross-country ones and embark on a serene trek through snowy trails. This low-impact activity builds balance and stamina while offering a chance to explore the tranquil Nordic wilderness.

We’re back on alpine skis today for another day on the pistes, using our new found balance and glide from cross country skiing.

Squeeze in a few more runs in the morning before bidding farewell to the slopes. After check-out, it’s time to head to the airport, carrying home memories of an unforgettable week in the mountains.
