Activity Overview
Never SUP’d? Our instructors will soon get you up and gliding, teaching you everything you need to know while we paddle through sea caves and hidden coves completely cut off from the tourist trail. (You’ll fall in at least once, but that’s half the fun in Mediterranean waters).
Hit crystal clear coastal waters and the winding River Temo, paddle past ancient farmland and dive in for swimming breaks whenever the mood strikes or the Sardinia summer heat dictates.
All levels welcome. We’re not chasing big distances or working on technique, it’s all about exploring and soaking up Sardinia’s coastline.
Activity Overview
Head to Sardinia’s cliff-top trails for sweeping Mediterranean views and access to incredible swimming spots away from the crowds. You’ll trek ancient coastal paths through protected wilderness, where endangered Griffon vultures soar above (their six-foot wingspans mean you can’t miss them).
Navigate rocky, uneven terrain and rugged trails with distances between 5-10km. These are moderate trails and our guides know exactly where to find the most impressive views and the best beaches with great snorkelling.
Activity Overview
Stretch it all out after all the paddling and hiking with Vinyasa yoga classes. Our instructor teaches the basics and tailors each session to the group – whether you can’t touch your toes or you’re already flexible, you’ll get what you need.
Yoga isn’t just stretching. It’s also about building the balance and core strength that makes you better on the SUP board. Plus it really helps your body recover for the next day’s adventure.
Activity Overview
Halfway between scrambling and rock climbing – scale Sardinia’s cliffs using steel cables, metal steps, ladders and suspension bridges. It’s an adrenaline rush that gets your heart pumping, but you don’t need climbing experience or massive upper body strength.
Think adventure playground for adults. You’ll be clipped into safety cables the entire time, so it’s about conquering your nerves and enjoying the rush, not technical climbing skills.
Activity Overview
Get hands-on learning from local nonnas at a working farm with incredible views across the Sardinian countryside. These grandmothers have been making pasta for decades and you’ll learn techniques passed down through generations while surrounded by olive groves and farmland.
Roll, shape and create your own pasta from scratch, then sit down to eat what you’ve made alongside a good glass of local wine.
The Destination
Your adventure starts here
Olbia Airport pickup, then it's a drive to Bosa, arriving early evening to check into your base in Old Town.
Head to Giovanni Battista Columbu's award-winning wine cave. Learn about Sardinian geology and climate while tasting Malvasia di Bosa DOC. Dinner after at a fantastic local restaurant.
Breakfast at the hotel, then hit the coastline on your SUP board. If you've never paddleboarded before, your instructor will get you up and moving to explore stunning beaches from the water. Work on SUP skills and confidence and expect to fall in - it’s half the fun.
Plenty of swimming and snorkelling through caves and hidden grottos. Then it's late lunch at a beach restaurant with an incredible buffet of freshly caught fish!
Free time, then a yoga session followed by dinner at another great local spot.
Breakfast, then paddle the Temo river with views of Bosa's pastel houses and castle from the water. It's Sardinia's only navigable river and perfect for practicing your new SUP skills without worrying about waves.
Lunch at the local restaurant, then downtime. Hit the beach or explore Bosa's cobblestone streets, it's your choice.
Unwind with a yoga session before an evening boat cruise with antipasti. Not a bad way to end the day.
Breakfast, then drive inland to Monteleone Rocca Doria, a tiny medieval hamlet perched 400m above sea level. It's time for Via Ferrata della Regina, a protected climbing route on the cliffs. No climbing experience needed, just guts.
Packed lunch overlooking a lake, then back to Bosa. Free time to people watch with an ice cream or wander down to the beach.
Head to an Agriturismo to learn ravioli-making from real Sardinian nonnas. These grandmothers know what they're doing. Eat your homemade pasta overlooking stunning farmland.
Breakfast, then hike to one of the last remaining griffon vulture colonies. This wilderness spot is perfectly preserved and tourist-free, and your chance to see these rare birds with six-foot wingspans.
Trek through dense Mediterranean vegetation to reach a beautiful cove perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Keep your eyes peeled for octopus hiding in the rocks. Beach lunch before finishing the hike.
Free time to snap some last photos and buy souvenirs, before your airport transfer. Head home with solid paddleboard technique, improved flexibility, and a serious addiction to Italian pasta.

The answers
Not at all. Our instructor will get you up and moving as we explore beautiful locations. We’ll paddle 5-9km daily (3-5 hour sessions) with breaks for snacks and to take in the scenery. If you’re a SUP master already but want to try on turquoise waters, then experienced paddlers are also welcome, however please be aware that the pace and distances are tailored for beginners.
This trip is rated moderate. You’ll be moving 4-5 hours daily plus an hour of yoga. To get the most out of the experience you’ll need a good level of fitness. Prepare for four days of back-to-back activities, which can be demanding for some.
Via Ferrata is a protected climbing route with steel cables, ladders, and suspension bridges. If you’re afraid of heights, there are opportunities to try small sections first and see how it goes. Many anxious guests have completed the route with the support offered. In peak summer heat, we may swap this for aquatrekking.
You will be paddling on the sea and rivers, so although you don’t need to be a strong swimmer, you must be able to swim 100m and be confident in the water.
We normally paddle in swimwear or sportswear with a hat/cap and long-sleeved top for sun protection. If cooler, consider a shorty wetsuit (optional). You’ll need aqua shoes for getting on and off your board in rocky conditions. Bring a rain coat just in case.
Not at all. Our instructor guides you through sessions.
Most people fly into Olbia Airport, where our transfer meets you. For each trip date, we offer transfer times coordinated with recommended flights.
A group transfer is included on both the arrival and departure days. This is a shared transfer, running at fixed times to and from Olbia Airport.
There is one transfer each way, and your flight must match the timings. If it doesn’t, you’ll need to make your own arrangements.
Transfer times:
We don’t provide individual transfers. If you arrive earlier and don’t mind waiting around then you can get our transfer. If you’re very delayed, the transfer may not wait and you’ll need your own transport – this is where travel insurance comes into its own.
If your flights don’t match we can book a private transfer for you.
Olbia (1h50):
You can also fly into Alghero or Cagliari airport, however you will need to make your own way to the trip start point.
