Navigate mountain trails, gorges, and river crossings on two guided hikes. Your guide will explain the geology, wildlife, and local legends as you climb toward viewpoints that stretch across the Norwegian Sea.
Activity Overview
Paddle between Lofoten’s islands and soak in the scenery as mountains rise straight from the sea. Team up with another Gutsy Girl in stable double kayaks and navigate around rocky outcrops and hidden coves while keeping watch for seals, seabirds, and marine life both above and below the surface.
Activity Overview
Paddleboard beneath Lofoten’s towering peaks, their reflections rippling under your board. New to SUP? Your guide gets you comfortable on the board quickly, then you’re free to explore the bay and perfect your technique. Two hours on the water with mountain views from every angle.
Activity Overview
Explore more of the island on a cycle to Henningsvær, 18km each way, a fishing village spread across small islands linked by bridges. It’s buzzing with local life: good cafes, real culture, busy harbours and a community that exists well beyond the tourist trail.
Activity Overview
Soak tired muscles in the sauna and hot tub after active days, then take the plunge into the Arctic Ocean for the full Norwegian hot-cold therapy experience. The spa sits right on the water’s edge with mountain views while you recover from hiking and paddling.
The Destination
Your Adventure Starts Here
A 2.5-hour scenic drive from the airport to our hotel. Watch Lofoten unfold through the window as you head deeper into the islands.
Check in, drop your bags, then meet your group over a two course welcome dinner. Get to know the women you'll be out there with all week. The gin bar stays open until 11pm if the night's not done yet.
Yoga to wake up the body, then breakfast. Pack your lunchbox, then meet your guide, lace up your boots and hike to Varden Peak.
Push to the summit. The views justify every metre climbed. Take photos, soak in the panoramas, then hike back down.
Hot tub, sauna, Arctic Ocean plunge, it’s all available in the spa. Then a two course dinner.
Yoga to loosen yesterday's climb out of your muscles, then breakfast. Grab your life jacket, then paddle out to explore Lofoten's coastline from the water.
Lunch on a sandy beach, then paddle back. Head straight to the spa to revive any achy arms!
Rest up or explore the area around the hotel, then enjoy a two course dinner.
Yoga, breakfast, prep for the day. Paddleboard on crystal-clear water around the bay. Get your balance, find your flow and learn a new skill.
Bonfire lunch outdoors, then swap your board for boots. Hike to Djevelporten (Devil's Gate). There's a rock wedged in a gorge, Sherpa stairs carved into the mountain and epic views over Svolvær and Skråva - it makes all the uphill worth it.
Back to the hotel for a two course dinner, then relax in the hotel bar and lounge.
Last yoga session so stretch it all out, then fuel up at breakfast. Grab your bike for a cycle ride to Henningsvær, an old fishing village with history in the walls and good coffee in the cafes.
36km
Lunch at a restaurant in the village. Wander the shops, soak up the culture, take your time. Then cycle back.
Make the most of the hot tub, sauna and ocean in your final spa session. Celebrate with a two course farewell dinner.
Breakfast. Pack your lunch from the buffet, check out and transfer to the airport. Lofoten's in the rear-view, but you'll carry it with you.

The Answers
No. This trip is designed for beginners. Our guides will teach you technique for each activity. You don’t need prior experience, but you do need to be comfortable learning new sports and potentially getting wet.
You need good cardiovascular fitness and stamina for consecutive active days. If you can handle 5-6 hours of activity daily and wake up ready to go again the next morning, you’ll manage. Think long walks with hills, plus learning new sports. Walking and yoga alone won’t prepare you.
Active 5-6 hours daily across hiking, paddling and cycling. It’s not a walk in the park, but we’re not climbing Everest. The challenge is consecutive days of different activities, not any single sport being extreme. You need stamina more than specific skills.
You need to know how to ride a bike for the 36km cycling day to and from Henningsvær. There’s an option to not cycle back if needed.
We provide kayaks, SUPs, paddles, life jackets, spray decks and bikes with helmets. You bring your own clothing – swimwear or sportswear for paddling, plus waterproofs and layers. Check the packing list for specifics.
Yes. Our guides work with complete beginners through to people improving existing skills. They’ll teach technique and keep activities safe while pushing you appropriately.
Fly to Evenes Airport (EVE). We provide one timed group transfer to the hotel (2 hours 45 minutes).
A group transfer is included on both the arrival and departure days. This is a shared transfer, running at fixed times to and from Evenes Airport.
There is one transfer each way, and your flight must match the timings. If it doesn’t, you’ll need to make your own arrangements. Please note that there are different transfer times depending on the adventure date.

3 Sep – 8 Sep
You’ll need to arrange your own transport. Private transfers cost around 7000kr (£500). The public bus runs twice daily, costing 500-600kr (£38-£45). We strongly recommend booking the suggested flights to match group transfers.
We design flexibility into every trip because weather and conditions can change. Our guides adjust daily plans to ensure the best and safest experience. You’ll still get your full adventure, just potentially in a different order.
Cards work everywhere in Norway. Budget £30-50 daily for drinks at the gin bar, snacks between meals, and personal purchases. Norway is expensive, so expect high prices. The hotel has laundry for 150kr (£11) if needed.
We accommodate all dietary requirements if you inform us in advance. If you don’t tell us before arrival, we may not be able to cater for your needs.
