for day events
Gutsy Girls Ltd operates as a Travel Agent to connect like minded women on day events, weekend retreats and holidays.
We work with suppliers, primarily outdoor instructors and activity providers, who run our day events.
When booking a day event through the Gutsy Girls website you agree to the Terms and Conditions set out by Gutsy Girls Ltd and the Supplier.

CANCELLATIONS BY YOU
You can cancel your day event booking with us at any time.
Your cancellation will be effective from the date that the cancellation is received in writing by email.
CANCELLATION FEES
If you cancel more than 30 days before your day event, we will refund you 50% of your payment.
If you cancel within 30 days of your day event, no refund will be given.
How to Cancel
If you want to cancel your booking, send us an email with your name, details about the event that you booked and the date that the event is due to take place on.
We will confirm cancellation of your booking. If you’re due a refund this will be facilitated and be in your account within 5-10 working days.
RESCHEDULING BY YOU
As an alternative to trip cancellation we also offer the option of rescheduling. This can be done at any time on the condition that Gutsy Girls are able to fill your spot. There is a £20 admin fee for rescheduling if your spot is filled.
If we are not able to find a replacement to take your spot, then rescheduling will not be possible. Your payment is non-refundable, but no additional admin fee will be charged.
Just to note:
If you want to reschedule because the weather forecast for your event is looking like it will rain, it is highly unlikely that your spot will fill. We recommend joining us in the rain, bring a raincoat!
The sooner you notify Gutsy Girls that you want to reschedule the more likely it is that your spot will fill. Last minute rescheduling is not advised as we are unlikely to fill your spot at short notice.
How to Reschedule
If you would like to reschedule your booking, email us your name, details of the event that you've booked and the date that the event is due to take place.
Gutsy Girls will cancel your spot on our booking system and open the spot up for others to book. If another person books the spot, you will receive a credit voucher for the amount you paid, minus the £18 administration fee.
You can use your credit voucher to rebook onto any Gutsy Girls Day Event. The voucher is valid for 6 months from issue. If you would like to use this towards the payment of a Gutsy Girls holiday, you'll need to get in touch via email.
Gutsy Girls will notify you if we are able to fill your spot.
WEATHER
If taking part in outdoor adventures in the UK, you must be prepared to join us in the rain!
We will only cancel an event if the weather conditions are deemed unsafe for us to run your experience safely. We will monitor the weather closely on the lead up to your event, but will only notify you if we need to cancel. We will be monitoring for thunderstorms, faster flowing water on rivers and strong winds.
With all adventures, we need to remain flexible and adaptable. We will strive to stick to our itineraries provided at the time of booking, however in rare circumstances we may be required to make changes to the itinerary to accommodate the weather conditions.

CANCELLATIONS BY US
Cancellation because of weather
If we do need to cancel due to unsafe weather conditions, you will be issued with a credit voucher for your full booking amount that can be used on any Gutsy Girls Day Events, valid for 1 year.
Gutsy Girls are not responsible for any travel costs incurred for cancellation, we recommend you select flexible travel options.
Cancellation for circumstances beyond our control
We very rarely cancel our events, however if we are required to cancel your event due to reasons outside of our control which are unrelated to the weather (e.g. staff sickness, injury, location issues) we will issue a full refund or credit voucher.
If we do have to cancel, we will not be responsible for any costs incurred from travel arrangements or accommodation. We recommend that you book flexible or refundable options and have appropriate travel insurance in place.
SAFETY AND LIABILITY
Taking part in activities, adventure sports, and action sports carries a risk of damage, personal injury or death. Gutsy Girls Ltd does not accept, or assume, any responsibility or liability for accidents, injuries or death which occurs while taking part in your day event.
Each supplier’s terms and conditions will have details regarding liability.
You agree not to hold Gutsy Girls responsible for any inconveniences or financial losses due to injuries or death sustained while taking part on a Gutsy Girls event.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
You must provide us with full details of any existing medical condition that may affect your ability to take part in your chosen event at the time of your booking.
If in our reasonable opinion your chosen day event is not suitable for your medical condition, we have the right to refuse your booking.
OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
Your booking contract is between you and the Supplier. You agree to the terms and conditions of the Supplier at the time of booking. As the Agent, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of the day event.
COMPENSATION
We accept no responsibility for any information about the day's events that we pass on to you in good faith. However, in the event that we are found liable to you on any basis whatsoever, our maximum liability to you is limited to twice the cost of the commission we earn on your booking.
LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Booking Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law with any action arising out of it being subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
DEFINITIONS
a) References to “Supplier(s)” mean the instructor or activity provider facilitating the event.
b) The references to “You” and “Your” means the persons named in the booking (including any person or persons added or substituted subsequently)
c) References to “We” “Us” and “Our” means Gutsy Girls Ltd.
d) References to "Events” “Event” means the day events.
e) References to “Booking Conditions” means the terms and conditions set by the Supplier/Principal.
f) References to “Gutsy Girls” means Gutsy Girls Ltd.
