1. Your Contract

By booking and participating in an activity with Roar Outdoor, you (the participant) agree to these Terms & Conditions. Gutsy Girls Ltd acts as a booking agent only. Your contract is with us, the event provider.

2. Eligibility to Participate

Participants must be at least 16 years old

You confirm that you are fit and able to take part in the advertised activity.

You agree to follow all safety instructions and respect the authority of our guides/instructors.

We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

3. Medical Conditions & Fitness

You are required to inform us at the time of booking (or before the event) of any medical, physical, or mental conditions that may affect your participation.

We reserve the right to:

  • Request a medical note or doctor’s approval

  • Decline participation if we believe it may compromise your safety or the group

4. Cancellation by the Supplier

  • We may cancel or reschedule the activity due to:

  • Unsafe weather or environmental conditions

  • Staff illness or emergency

  • Venue or equipment issues

  • Minimum numbers not being met (if applicable)

  • Force majeure (see section 9)

If we cancel, we will offer:

A full refund, or

The option to reschedule, or

A credit note

We are not liable for any additional costs you incur, including travel, accommodation, or lost income.

5. Cancellation by you

Once you have confirmed your booking, no rescheduling or refunds are possible.

6. Safety & Conduct

All participants must wear the safety equipment provided and follow instructor guidance at all times.

Any participant behaving in a way that endangers themselves or others will be removed from the activity with no refund.

Equipment must be used appropriately; you may be charged for damages caused by misuse.

7. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Outdoor and adventure activities carry inherent risks, including risk of injury, illness, or death.

By participating, you acknowledge and accept that:

You are joining at your own risk

Roar Outdoor is not liable for injuries, loss, or damage unless due to proven negligence

You may be required to sign a waiver or risk acknowledgment form before the activity begins

8. Insurance

We carry valid Public Liability Insurance.

Participants are responsible for obtaining their own personal travel or activity insurance, including cover for cancellation, injury, or property damage.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters

Government restrictions

Transport strikes

War or terrorism

Pandemic-related disruption

No refunds or compensation will be offered in such circumstances, although we will do our best to offer alternative arrangements.

10. Photography & Media Use

We may take photographs or videos during the activity for marketing or social media purposes.

Please inform us in advance if you do not wish to appear in any media.

11. Personal Property

We are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to your personal belongings during the event. We recommend leaving valuables at home or storing them securely.

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of your experience, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to resolve it.

13. Data Protection

We collect and store your personal data only as necessary to run the event and comply with legal and safety requirements.

We do not share your data with third parties except Gutsy Girls Ltd for booking administration.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any legal disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
