The journey takes approximately 2 hours 45 minutes.
-
Private transfers cost around 7000kr (approximately £500). There is also a public bus that runs twice daily for 500-600kr (£38-£45). Find out more here.

We'll connect you with others on the trip via WhatsApp, so you may be able to arrange to travel together.
Accommodation & Food
-
Modern Norwegian hotel rooms - cosy, comfortable accommodation after active days. The real highlight? Lofoten's best spa facilities with sauna, hot tub, and Arctic Ocean access for evening recovery sessions.
-
All meals are included - breakfast buffet, packed lunches for activity days, and two-course restaurant dinners showcasing seasonal Norwegian dishes like reindeer, Arctic fish, and warming soups. After dinner, explore the hotel's gin bar featuring Lofoten's biggest selection.
-
We cater for all dietary requirements, but we always recommend double checking with our team before booking. Also always tell us in advance what you need - if we don't know beforehand, we might not be able to accommodate you.
Activities
-
Never kayaked, snowshoed, skied cross-country or ridden a horse? Just bring your determination and our expert guides will teach you the rest.
-
This trip is rated moderate. Winter conditions in Lofoten require decent fitness. You'll be active every day, trying new activities and using muscles you might not have realised you owned. It's not a walk in the park, but we're not climbing Everest either.
-
This trip involves several days of back-to-back activity in freezing temperatures, which tires you out. Cardiovascular fitness helps with endurance. If you do running, cycling, or anything that gets your heart pumping regularly, you'll manage fine. If you don't, we recommend you start now.
-
If you're active and want consecutive days trying multiple winter activities rather than focusing on one sport, this trip works. You'll be outdoors most days in freezing temperatures, so mental readiness for cold weather matters as much as physical fitness.
-
Arctic winter in Lofoten means freezing temperatures, snow cover, and short daylight hours. Weather changes fast - clear mornings can turn stormy by afternoon. Come prepared for cold, but also those crisp, clear days when the landscape reveals why you made the journey.
-
If the weather doesn't play ball, we'll adjust the plan accordingly. Safety is always our top priority, and we've got alternative plans lined up. You're in safe hands.
-
Our itineraries aren't set in stone. Our guides are experts at making the most of the weather each day, so they may adjust things to ensure we get the best out of the conditions.
Gear & Packing
-
We provide all technical and safety equipment including snowshoes, cross-country skis and boots, kayaks, life jackets and horse riding helmets.

Waterproof insulated hiking boots, breathable waterproof shell jacket, soft shell winter hiking trousers, warm insulated jacket, multiple lightweight base layers (Merino wool or synthetic, NOT cotton), fleece mid-layer, warm hat, buff, ski gloves (bring two pairs), wool socks, sunglasses, and a small 20L backpack. Don't forget swimwear for the spa.

Other
-
Most of our guests join solo. You'll meet adventure-seekers who share your mindset, and we'll connect you with your group via WhatsApp before the trip so you can start chatting.
-
Our community spans from women from their 20s to their 70s and beyond. We don't ask your age when you book—and honestly, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you're up for an adventure.
Here's the breakdown:
Most of our guests (around 66%) are in their 30s and 40s
About 16% are in their 50s
Around 11% are in their 20s
Roughly 5% are in their 60s
A small but gutsy 1% are under 20 or over 70
Age becomes irrelevant pretty quickly when you're learning to ski, hiking through stunning landscapes, or sharing stories over dinner. The mix of perspectives and life stages is what makes our groups so good. You'll find yourself connecting with women you might never have crossed paths with otherwise.
-
We'd love to work exclusively with female guides, but the reality is there aren't enough in the industry yet. Our priority is finding instructors who are experienced, patient, and genuinely care about building women's confidence outdoors—and sometimes that means working with male guides.
We vet every guide carefully and monitor feedback closely. What matters most is how they teach and support you, not their gender. As more women get into adventure sports (hopefully through trips like ours), we expect to see more female guides in the industry.
-
Flights to/from Evenes Airport, extra drinks with meals, personal expenses, travel insurance, and individual airport transfers if arriving at different times.
-
Yes. Non-negotiable. You need comprehensive travel insurance that covers adventure activities, medical emergencies, and cancellations. We can't let you on the trip without it.
-
No need to stuff your wallet - credit and debit cards are accepted almost everywhere. That said, it's handy to carry a small amount of local currency for occasional personal expenses.
