What to Bring:
Hiking Kit:
Duffle bag to transport your overnight kit during the hike! (Capacity?)
20-30 litre backpack with waterproof cover (or waterproof backpack liner) for carrying between huts
Hiking boots with ankle support. Make sure that your boots are well worn in and blisters aren’t going to spoil your holiday.
A range of lightweight, breathable layers that can be easily added or removed to suit changing conditions:
Quick dry t-shirts
Long sleeve lightweight t-shirts for sun protection
Warmer thermal base layer (merino wool recommended)
Lightweight fleece or mid-layer
A breathable, waterproof and windproof shell jacket
A light packable insulated / down jacket for stops and evenings at altitude
Summer hiking trousers or leggings
Hiking shorts
A selection of hiking socks
Sleeping bag (2-3 Seasons)
Camping pillow
Sunglasses
Sun hat / cap
Warm hat & gloves - hopefully not required but worth bringing with you particularly at the beginning and end of the season
Buff
Waterproof trousers - optional but very useful in case of rain
Sturdy water shoes and rock shoes
Evenings:
Casual evening clothes
Swimwear
Sleepwear
Toiletries
Any prescription medication
Compeed or moleskin for blisters, just in case!
Flip flops, sandals, shoes for at camp

Sunscreen (high factor) and lip salve
Quick dry towel
Waterproof phone case (optional)

Dry bags for inside your day pack to keep stuff dry
