What to Expect

Join us in a beautiful wild setting in Scotland for a weekend of standup paddleboarding, wild swimming and yoga; you'll unplug, unwind and reconnect with nature.

In this exclusive Gutsy Girl SUP weekend retreat,  we’ll be spending two days exploring the wild and unspoilt west coast of Scotland. Paddling along the coast line, we’ll stop at sandbanks for a picnics, discover rare wildlife and wild swim in stunning locations.

On our first evening, we’ll set up a campfire on the beach to watch the sunset over the isles of Eigg and Rùm (maybe with a little glass of whiskey). Tonight, we'll stay in a bothy*, basic traditional shelters originally used by farmers. These cottages and huts are in beautiful remote locations, offering shelter with a cosy fire place, and we’ll tuck into a hearty meal and stargaze until we are sleepy!

Come morning, we’ll enjoy a sunrise yoga session by the waters edge, refuel with breakfast before heading off on our second day of paddling along the coast line. Stopping to explore the landscapes by foot and enjoying the stunning location!

On our second night, we’ll stay in a great local inn, right on the bay. Refreshing with hot showers before indulging in some delicious traditional dishes with locally sourced fish and produce in the restaurant looking over the water.

This weekend is limited to just 6 spots! Early booking is recommended.

Open to all level SUPers, including complete beginners!

*Please note, we do not use MBA Bothies. We use privately owned dwellings with permission from the owners.

We’ll stay in the sheltered bay of Loch nan Ceall, a stand up paddleboarders dream, with tranquil water and unbeatable views looking over the islands of Rum and Eigg. The perfect location for camp fires and stargazing.

Natalie is the founder of Gutsy Girls and super excited to be joining you in her mother's homeland for this incredible adventure. Super friendly and approachable, she is on hand to take out the intimidation of travelling alone!
